Dave Kelly is a retired law enforcement leader currently living in the city of Dexter. After spending 26 years on the force spearheading technological initiatives for the good of the public, Dave retired from the Michigan State Police; but he was not quite ready to end his career in technology. As such, he joined the Information Builders team, where he serves as Vice President of Public Sector Solutions & Strategy.
In this role, Dave leverages his extensive expertise to aid in the creation of innovative solutions for various technological problems encountered by the public sector. As such, he frequently partners with and assists the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, state & local government, and higher education institutions on a variety of technology projects and creative solutions to complex business problems.
Dave Kelly also served eight years as the Editor and Chief of the Michigan Trooper Magazine and is, himself, an accomplished writer. Aside from writing a regular column for the Michigan Trooper, Dave has published stock market and finance related articles on The Street, Benzinga, and Seeking Alpha and his short fiction is available on Amazon. Dave’s first memory of writing success was winning a young author’s award in the 4th grade. Ever since that day, Dave has been writing on his diverse expertise and interests.
